Peru - Lago Titicaca

Our stay in Lake Titicaca was perhaps the most beautiful part of our trip. The crisp blue skies and turquoise lake waters contrasted sharply with the ruggedness of the land and the people. It was the most relaxing part of our trip as well: our hotel was right on the water front, no other hotel around. The first thing we saw when we opened our curtains was the sky melting into the lake. The air was fresh and there was lots of space for the boys to run around. I highly recommend this venue to anyone traveling to Peru, although the altitude is something to take into SERIOUS account, just ask Nico!!!
Goats with necklaces. A gift from the local people living on the island of Taquilles on the Lake, as a symbol of their reverence for these animals.
For Tio Brandon: the hinges on the gate were the soles of old flip flops!
