Here is the first batch of pictures from our trip to Alicante. There are very few pictures because these were taken after Nico arrived - two days before we left for San Sebastian and then France. Before Nico arrived, I bought a disposable camera that I haven't had a chance to develop yet, so there'll be more pictures, with Tia Mercy, coming soon.
This summer has been all about indulgences and breaking our usual "Bogota routine". So one morning, I brought home some hot chocolate and churros. Mateo (and Nico and Tio Brandon) was thrilled - the next morning at breakfast he asked where his churros were!
Mateo loved to tackle the waves with Tio Brandon and Nico, but he would be completely exhausted when he came out. I'm not sure why, since he really didn't do much work to overcome the waves. Here he is "resting" ...
Playing in the sand ... Yes, I know, poor Santi is nearly covered to his toes - he was certainly the only baby in the beach to be so protected - but the strong sun on baby skin can cause serious damage.
