Santi at 6 months
A little photo fest from the youngest family member.
Santi is more fun these days. He has finally learned to sit, so we have more playful interactions with him, and is constantly smiling, laughing and ... babbling!!! He especially likes to sing, or so I think, because every time he hears music, he starts to babble. He has another tooth coming also, which will be useful to chomp down all the food he eats!!! This baby eats!!! He likes EVERYTHING I give him and always demands more (just like his dad!!)!!
I know I'm a proud mama, but he just sooooo adorable!!!

Santi eating solids
Santi has re-started eating solids. What a difference a couple of months has made!! Not only is he able to hold himself up better on the highchair, but he's also interested in food in general and enjoying the whole eating experience much more. He's been eating a lot of prunes, apples, pears, carrots, butternut squash and chicken. Except for the butternut squash, he's been thrilled with mommy's food choice. Next this week will be broccoli - hmmm, wonder how much he'll like that!!!
In other news, Santi first tooth has erupted; it's barely out yet, but visibly present!! Hurray!!!

Playing with Shaving Cream
What do we do when it's raining outside?? We play with Daddy's shaving cream!!! Initially, it started out as a sensory activity for Santi, but soon enough Mateo was spreading the cream all over his face and "shaving", just like Nico. They both had lots of fun!!
Mardi Gras at the Liceo Frances
Last week Mateo's school had a Mardi Gras celebration. There was a lot of music and dancing, but all fell quite when the smallest students entered the gym. Mateo's class led the pack singing "Roule Gallette". It was very sweet to see Mati's first "school production," even if all they did was walk around the gym.
I love this picture simply because it's so endearing to see the little ones holding on to each other as they parade down the school gym. You can see Mati in front of the girl with light green pants and white sweatshirt. They were in awe when they entered the gym and saw so many people!!!
