Mother's Day

Right after Nico arrived from Houston, we left for a quick weekend getaway in Lomas de Caruao - a beach hotel about 3 hours away from Caracas.  It was relaxing and a wonderful way to celebrate Mother's Day.

Nico left at the end of April and beginning of May for about three weeks.  First he went to San Ramon, he came back to Caracas for a couple of days and then he left again for "team building" meetings in Houston on a Saturday.  We were having a family dinner on Friday and Nico was explaining what he was going to be doing there: part of his itinerary was watching a golf and baseball game.  So Mateo said the following:
"But Daddy, you don't need to GO to Houston to watch the golf game! You can watch it with your friends on TV.  AND if you get bored, you can always change channels. And besides Daddy, you are polluting by going on an airplane just to watch a game."

Can't argue with that now, can you?????
