On The Rocks

As we get ready to leave, I know that the best souvenir I'll take from Venezuela is my friendship with a wonderful woman named Mari.  She and her husband Dani have spoiled us rotten on numerous occasions.  This time, the cherry on top was a trip to Los Roques aboard their boat "On the Rocks".  It was a short weekend, but full of memories that make our departure even harder.

Mexico

For lack of time, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.  Enjoy!

CANCUN

XEL-HA

KIDZANIA
By far one of the best thought out places for children, this "city" teaches kids about the value of work and money.  Mati and Santi engaged in numerous jobs (car assembly, DHL delivery, gas station assistant, etc) and earned money with which they could buy toys at the store or spend doing other activities, like riding bikes, climbing walls, etc.

The cutest DHL delivery men!! Of course, Mateo leads and Santi pushes the cart!

 Fireman Santi

Spending his money by climbing a building!

Trying to get his brother to stop and refuel.  Santi didn't understand that concept: STOP? Why?
Another great part of Mexico is the delicious eating.  It seems all our time is spent eating!!  Mateo asks when we are going back because he likes to eat in Mexico so much!

Swimming With Dolphins

I know I have a lot of pictures to upload and stories to tell, but the move is taking up all my time.  So here are some pictures of our trip to Xel-Ha in Cancun, where Mateo and I swam and played with dolphins.  Santi, unfortunately, didn't want to do it, preferring instead to play with Daddy on some slides.  For Mateo and I it was an amazing experience!
